MD Resort was designed with Family Reunion Vacations in mind. In a private country setting with a location just outside Dallas Fort Worth Texas. Though we host a number of other types of events such as weddings, corporate events, groups, and retreats, we like to think that we are North Texas premier Family Reunion Resort! We have a number of amenities to help make sure your family reunion Vacation is fun and memorable including a Recreation Room with a regulation-sized pool table, ping pong, games, and puzzles. Family Reunions always enjoy our outdoor pool and heated hot tub (in season), volleyball, basketball, and a variety of other outdoor sports. MD Resort may accommodate up to 80 overnight guests, family style. We have more family reunion lodging nearby. Your family may choose from our family reunion facilities to enjoy our 1500 square foot, climate controlled Meeting Room as well as a Texas hay barn converted to a Party Barn to lend a western or rustic theme to any fun party or family reunion get-together.

Don't need overnight accommodations? This Package works great for families who live close by and just need a place to gather for a party, BBQ, dance, or fish fry. The Family Reunion Party Package includes use of the Party Barn facility for a four hour period as well as use of tables, and chairs. Use the fire pit for wiener or marshmallow roast (make some old fashioned S'mores)! Make friends with our resident buffalo, Biscuit!

The Ranch House is just like "home away from home". It feels like a large cabin nestled in the trees. Enjoy this sprawling four bedroom, 2-1/2 bath brick home with living room, dining room, a full country kitchen (stocked with cooking and baking utensils, and serving pieces), and a very large family room (called the Sun Room). This accommodation gives your family quiet seclusion, independence to create your own family meals, and the opportunity to spend that much-needed time together as a family. The Ranch House offers a beautifully treed yard, large patio, picnic table and quiet privacy. Just a short walk to the horse shoe pit, swimming pool and volleyball.

Longhorn Lodge Family Reunion Vacation Package
The Lodge offers 11 bedrooms with comfortable and convenient overnight accommodations for up to 32 guests, family style. This rental package includes full use of the climate controlled, 1500 square foot Meeting Room, tables and chairs, full size refrigerator and a delicious full country breakfast for all overnight guests. The Lodge includes the Recreation Room, use of Resort swimming pool and hot tub (in season), Southern-style wrap-around porch (complete with rocking chairs and porch swings), balconies, patio furniture, tree hammock and much, much more! Absolutely beautiful site with lots of trees.

Your family will have ample space for sharing meals, memories, and favorite moments.

- Family Reunion Plan Day One
Your first day you will check in and enjoy a Family Reunion dinner for the entire family.
- Family Reunion Plan Day Two
Day two will include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The big Meeting Room provides plenty of space for meals, games, and conversation. Enjoy the pool, hot tub (in season), outdoor games, horse shoe pit and a huge sandbox for the little kiddos. Some folks might want to just relax on the breezy wrap-around porch or doze in the tree hammock. Stay up as late as you wish, enjoy a family skit or talent show, or just visit 'til the rooster crows (or 'til the donkeys start braying). Enjoy continuous lemonade and beverage service all day.
- Family Reunion Plan Day Three
Day three, sleep in and enjoy another full country breakfast with the family at 9:00 AM. Be sure you make time to plan next year's reunion.

Day four may include a bounce house for the kiddos, volleyball, basketball, baseball, swimming and relaxing. Breakfast and lunch included; then for Dinner enjoy a delicious buffet meal and a Family Murder Mystery Game. Dress in character costumes, act out, ham it up, and solve a mystery! Great fun for young and old! Prizes for best actor, best costume and best detective.

Day five just hang out and have fun all day or may be a day to explore the vast entertainment opportunities in the area: maybe plan a day at Six Flags Over Texas; a guided fishing trip on your choice of area lakes; golfing for the guys and shopping at local malls for the gals (or vice versa); visit area historical places of interest, local antique malls, or the Cultural District in Fort Worth.

Day Six a leisurely home cooked breakfast for the whole family and planning for next year's reunion. Plan to give every family a phone roster at check out.
